On Thursday, November 10th, BHCA Board of Director, Sebastian D’Agostino, was honored by the Jefferson Democratic Club for his service to his country and service to his community.
At their November 10, 2016 meeting, in honor of Veterans Day, the club paid tribute to Specialist 4th Class Sebastiano D'Agostino. Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein presented Sebastiano with a New York State Assembly Proclamation, Council Member Barry Grodenchik presented a New York City Council Citation, and Council Member Paul A. Vallone provided a Council Citation.
Specialist 4th Class D'Agostino, enlisted in the US Army in 1959. He was stationed in South Korea from 1959-1960 and at Fort Dix from 1960-1961. He is a recipient of the Hq. Co. 1st Corp Korea Blue Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and a Korea Defense Service Medal. In addition to his service to our country, Specialist 4th Class D'Agostino is the Post Commander of Little Neck-Douglaston American Legion Post #103, a Board Member of our Bayside Hills Civic Association, serves on the Executive Committee of the Queens County American Legion, and the Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade Committee. Sebastian is also President & Treasurer of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America, Queens County Region.
